The Chief Ministers Fellowship Program by the Government of Maharashtra provides the best opportunity to young professionals to understand social development sector closely. I got the opportunity to work with District Collector of Washim on ‘Aspirational District Project‘ by NITI Aayog. I was working on many key sectors like health, education, agriculture etc. The experience of working at grassroots level has offered me crucial learnings in policy making. The 11 month journey has surely changed my views towards issues faced by masses as well as overall working of the system.
